Author Guidelines

Submissions and Open Access Policy

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to FoBIR: Frontier Business Review through the journal's online submission system.

Authors must Login to an existing account or Register for a new account before making a submission.

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Open Journal Systems (OJS). Submissions sent directly by email will not be considered unless specifically requested by the Editorial Team.

Author Guidelines

FoBIR: Frontier Business Review accepts original manuscripts written in English within the journal's Focus and Scope.

• Present original scholarly work that has not been previously published.
• Not be under consideration by another journal.
• Follow the official FoBIR manuscript template.
• Follow the APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style.
• Be prepared according to the journal's formatting requirements.
• Clearly demonstrate theoretical, empirical, methodological, managerial, and/or policy contributions.
• Comply with FoBIR's Publication Ethics and research-integrity policies.

Manuscripts written in English must include the title, abstract, and keywords in English.

All manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening and originality check will proceed to a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers.

Manuscript Preparation

Research manuscripts should generally contain the following sections:

1. Title
2. Abstract
3. Keywords
4. Introduction
5. Literature Review and/or Theoretical Background
6. Research Methodology
7. Results / Findings
8. Discussion
9. Conclusion and Implications
10. References

The structure may be adjusted for conceptual papers, systematic literature reviews, and other types of manuscripts where appropriate.

Research and conceptual articles should generally contain approximately 5,000–8,000 words, including tables, figures, and references. Longer manuscripts may be considered when justified by the nature of the study.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to confirm that their manuscript complies with all of the following requirements:

• The submission falls within the Focus and Scope of FoBIR: Frontier Business Review.
• The manuscript is original and has not been previously published.
• The manuscript is not currently under consideration by another journal.
• The manuscript has been prepared using the official FoBIR manuscript template.
• The manuscript has been anonymized appropriately for the double-blind peer-review process.
• The manuscript is written in English.
• Manuscripts written in English include the title, abstract, and keywords in English.
• The manuscript follows the APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style.
• All references cited in the manuscript are included in the reference list and have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
• Where available, DOIs or persistent links for references have been provided.
• All tables and figures are appropriately numbered, titled, and cited within the manuscript.
• Authors have obtained permission to reproduce copyrighted figures, tables, photographs, datasets, or other materials where required.
• Appropriate ethical approval and informed consent have been obtained for research involving human participants where applicable.
• All sources of research funding have been disclosed.
• Any potential conflicts of interest have been declared.
• Any substantial use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies has been appropriately disclosed.
• The manuscript complies with FoBIR's Publication Ethics policy.
• The manuscript has been carefully proofread before submission.

Submission Process

Authors should complete the following steps:

Register / Login → Start a New Submission → Complete Manuscript Metadata → Upload Anonymized Manuscript → Upload Supplementary Files (if applicable) → Confirm Submission

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the information provided during submission is accurate and complete and that all co-authors have approved the manuscript for submission.

Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's basic submission requirements may be returned to authors for technical revision before entering the peer-review process.
