Archiving Policy

FoBIR: Frontier Business Review is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of its published scholarly content.

To safeguard published materials against data loss and ensure continued access to the scholarly record, FoBIR employs appropriate digital archiving and preservation strategies.

Digital Preservation

FoBIR manages and publishes its scholarly content through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

The journal supports participation in recognized digital preservation services, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), where applicable and subject to eligibility and availability.

These preservation mechanisms are intended to ensure that published content remains accessible even in circumstances where the journal's primary website becomes temporarily unavailable.

Repository and Self-Archiving

FoBIR supports the responsible dissemination and preservation of scholarly research.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version of their articles in:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject-based repositories
  • Academic repositories
  • Authors' institutional or personal academic websites
  • Other appropriate non-commercial repositories

When depositing or sharing an article, authors should provide complete bibliographic information and appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication in FoBIR: Frontier Business Review, including the DOI or permanent article link when available.

Indexing and External Preservation

Published articles may also be discoverable, indexed, or preserved through scholarly databases, indexing services, academic search engines, libraries, and other recognized scholarly information systems that include FoBIR.

The availability of articles through external services provides an additional layer of discoverability and accessibility but does not replace the journal's primary preservation mechanisms.

Long-Term Accessibility

Through these archiving and preservation practices, FoBIR: Frontier Business Review seeks to maintain the integrity and accessibility of its scholarly record and ensure that published research remains available to researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and the wider academic community over the long term.
